Wat zien we hier…, of zal ze lekker op stap zijn met deze allerschattigste badslippertjes?

Jooeeehoooee, hier ben ik weer vanaf ons vakantieadres gewoon thuis in ons eigen “Country Home” hihi!

Vandaag m’n laatste vakantiedag, had wilde plannen om lekker veel te bloggen maar ik ben er dus zo één die de eerste week van de vakantie doodmoe is.

Dus heb m’n “luikjes” de eerste week gesloten gehouden.

De 2e week verliep nog moeizamer dan ik dacht na flinke spierpijn te hebben gehad, dacht me weer even te melden bij de tennisvereniging als sponsorlid om nu maar weer eens na maanden actief het tennis op te pakken. Sinds vorige week vrijdag pas weer TOP fit!

Ineens bruis ik weer van energie…, HEERLIJK. En m’n creativiteit is volop aan het rennen, kom nu gewoon tijd tekort hahaha…

Jooeeehoooee, here I am back from our vacation home just at our “Country Home" address hihi!

Today is my last vacation day, had nice big plans to blog but I was so exhausted at the first week of our holiday.

So I kept my "hatches" (eyes) the first week closed.

The second week went even harder, thought to show my face again as a “sponsor” member at our local tennis club after months no playing but ooohh I’ve got after this active tennis game gigantic myalgia.

Since last Friday, I am feeling again TOP healthy and energetic!

And also my creativity is in full running now, why has a day not 48 hours hahaha ...

Ontzettende lieve mailtjes, fantastische reacties en verzoekjes heb ik nu bijgelezen en zal ze deze week allen beantwoorden… schrijf ik met rode wangen van schaamte. Kreten als ik mis je, je “verwaarloost” ons, waar ben je, och och hiervoor mijn diepste excuses.

Welnu, hou je vast… hahaha dan zal ik laten zien hoe we vertoeven in ons fijn “vakantiehuis”.

Vanaf de lente heb ik het één en ander gemaakt maar door gebrek aan tijd nog niet kunnen laten zien, nu maak ik daar absoluut tijd voor en hoop het zo goed te kunnen maken voor jullie ontzettend lieve en fijne bezorgdheid om mij! Ook ik prijs me gelukkig met jullie lezers.

Enormously lovely kind mails, great comments and requests have I read now, this week I will reply to all... I write this with red cheeks of shame. Because I’ve read lines such as I miss you, your "neglecting" us, where are you, oh oh my deepest apologies for this.

Well, hold on ... hahaha I'll show you how we celebrate holiday in our nice and cozy "vacation home".

Since spring I have a lot things created by lack of time I could not show it to you, but now I make absolutely time for to show and I hope with this move to make it up to you for your very sweet and concern about me! Also I am so happy with you dearest and lovely readers.

“Love those fairs…”

Buiten is het weer wat aangenamer en binnen in huis is de hitte verdreven van afgelopen weken. Eindelijk kan ik toch over die leuke fairs schrijven die we hebben bezocht.

Outside the weather is very pleasant and the heat inside the house was expelled from last week.

At last I can write about those great fairs we visited.

Het begon met dit rolletje die ik kado kreeg van een hele lieve vriendin Coby, vind het lint zo schattig, helemaal mijn stijltje en vroeg haar waar ze deze toch kocht…

Ze vertelde me dat er een hele leuke markt in Noordwijk zal zijn in het weekend van 20 juni onder de linden en deze kan je ook op zondag bezoeken. Waar ik de rollen bestel kan je zelf op deze markt kopen want ze zal er zelf ook staan met een stand.

It started with this roll, a gift for me from a very sweet friend Coby.

I find the ribbon so cute, it fits so in my style of home and asked her where she bought it anyway ...

She told me that there is a nice market in the town of Noordwijk it called under the lime trees in the weekend of June 20 and you can also visit this market on Sunday. So where I order she told me, you can buy your own roles in this market because the owner of the webshop will be there with a market stall.

Op die zondag twijfelde ik om nog te gaan, toch maar met z’n twee om half twee ’s middags even naar Noordwijk gereden… En LEUK dat het was, absoluut de moeite waard om deze te bezoeken!

Heb er helaas geen foto’s van, camera vergeten dom hé! Maar gekocht heb ik hahaha… deze allerleukste rollen met lint van de RIBBONSTORE.NL (klik) en zó leuk kennis gemaakt te hebben met Cora, de eigenaresse van deze webshop.

Met een lief linnen tasje kreeg ik al mijn goodies mee en natuurlijk heb ik daar weer een hele week mee gespeeld, heerlijk!

On that Sunday I doubted to go or not to go, but at half past one that afternoon we drove to Noordwijk ...

And really, really FUN it was definitely worth a visit!

Have unfortunately no pictures of this market, stupid forgot my camera!

But here you can see that I bought these rolls with the cutest ribbon of the nicest RIBBONSTORE.NL (klik) and very nice to meet Cora, the owner of this web shop.

With a lovely canvas bag I got all my goodies and of course I played with my goodies for a whole week, so great!

Op naar “The Farm & Country Fair” te Aalten…

Off to The Farm & Country Fair in the town of Aalten...

Bij de entrée een heerlijk welkom met al die korenschoven en paardenwagens, had nog een binnenpret over die korenschoof… Hoe hebben we dat toch ooit vorig jaar mee naar huis gekregen hahaha…! Heb er wel een heerlijk zomerkrans aan overgehouden.

At the entrance a wonderful welcome with all those sheaf of wheat and horse carriages, had a little bit fun for myself of that sheaf of wheat...

How did we ever do that to bring that giant sheaf last year at home ... hahaha! But I've had a wonderful summer wreath left over.

Het beloofde een zéér warme dag te worden, dus goed insmeren dames!

Zo startte onze dag, een heerlijke kop koffie met een beschuit, aardbeitjes en een grote toef slagroom….

Luister graag naar de country muziek van John Denver als ik aan het handwerken ben en wat wil nou dat deze zanger de mensen die in deze tent aanwezig waren ons toezong met heerlijke liedjes van John Denver, GENIETEN!

It should be a very hot day we heard on the radio, so ladies rub yourself with suncream!

And so began our day, a cup of coffee with a biscuit, strawberries and much whipped cream...

I like to listen to country music of John Denver when I'm crafting and what does this singer sing for all those people who were present in this tent wonderful songs of John Denver, how ENJOYING!

Daar liepen we dan…, onze dochter Jodie en haar vriendin Shaka konden niet wachten en vervolgden hun eigen weg richting de paardjes.

Henri en ik liepen al de 1e “straat” in, deze country fair beslaat wel 25 voetbalvelden groot dus er stond ons nog wat te wachten.

Ja, deze stand kon ik niet weerstaan en even een zak gevuld met overheerlijke engelse fudge..mmmm!

So we start walking on the fair, our daughter Jodie and her girlfriend Shaka could not wait and followed their own path toward the horses.

Henri and I walked into the first "street", this country fair cover 25 football pitches so there was much to see and waiting for us. Yes, this stall I could not resist filled one bag with delicious English fudge .. mmmm!

Bij de stand van familie Brunsveld bleef ik maar kijken naar al die prachtige gevulde

jutezakken met de heerlijke kleuren van de natuurlijke producten.

Doet me zo denken aan dat heerlijke liedje van ook mijn favoriete zangeres Eva Cassidy, “Fields of Gold”… (klik)

Die lieve meneer Brunsveld en zoon gaf me tekst en uitleg over wat ze aan veevoer produceerden. Werd er zo door geïnspireerd, nou zal je wel denken waarmee dan… maar dat lees je over een paar berichten. Helemaal, leuk en geweldig!

In the stall of family Brunsveld I kept looking at all these beautiful sacks filled with the glorious colors of natural products.

Makes me think like that wonderful song from my favorite singer Eva Cassidy, "Fields of Gold" ... (Click)

That dear sir Brunsveld and son gave me explanation about those natural products what they produced. Was so inspired, well you'll probably think about what... but that you can read in a few posts. All fun and great!

Schattige minipaardjes… Lovely minihorses…

Wat zie ik daar…, mijn prins zonder wit paard maar met een gevulde boodschappenkar wacht al op me voor mijn nederig huisje! hihi...

What do I see ..., my prince without a white horse but with a filled shoppingcar has been waiting for me at the front of my humble little home! hihi..

Een ferme hand geschud met meneer Kämink uit Dinxperlo die mij al vorig jaar betoverde met zijn zelfgemaakte vogelhuisjes. Hij herkende me nog…, denk van de kreten “oooohh” en “aaaahhh”.

Wederom té leuke huisjes stonden erweer, even uitrusten in de hitte op dit allerschattigste bankje met vuurkorf!

A firm hand shake with Mr. Kämink from Dinxperlo who fascinate me already last year with his homemade birdhouses. He recognized me ... I think of the yells of me such as "oooohh" and "aaaahhh.

Again he made a lot of cute and lovely birdhouses, so we paused here of the warmth of the weather on this bench with the cutest firepit!

We naderden de tent waar er een wolpresentatie werd gehouden met veel creatieve “wolspinners”.

Héél warm was het daar en had het echt te doen met deze lieve schaapjes die hun wollen jas nog aan hadden, pfff… Denk dat het 35 graden was in deze tent.

Maar leuk om al die soorten wol te zien en heb een zakje goudlokjes gekocht, wat ik er mee ga doen… Dat hoop ik je binnenkort te laten zien, op het moment dat ik deze post aan het schrijven ben ik met “haar” bezig…

We approached the tent where there was a wool presentation with many creative "wool spinners” . Very hot it was there and really had to do with those sweet sheep whose still had there wool coat on pfff ... Think it was more than 35 degrees in this tent.

But nice to see all these types of wool and I bought a bag golden wool locks, what I am gonna do with it... I hope that I can show you soon, at the moment when I am writing this post I also busy crafting with "her"...

Voor verkoeling werd er ook gezorgd, de kinderen vonden het maar al te leuk om onder die sproeier te staan. Kan je wel vertellen dat ik bijna in de verleiding werd gebracht, zo warm was het.

For cooling was also made, the kids loved it too to stand under the shower spray.

Can tell you I was almost in temptation for this shower, it was so hot then.

Even terug naar die lieve familie Brunsveld om … te kopen. Zie je Henri aan de linkerkant al bedenkelijk kijken, wat gaat er nu weer mee in de auto hahaha… nee dit keer geen korenschoof!

Wil deze spontane familie nog hartelijk danken voor hun zeer gastvrije en hartelijke warm gebaar naar ons en dat we bij hun even mochten vertoeven om van de hitte bij te komen, hopelijk gauw tot ziens! Héél fijn, gezellig en leuk jullie te leren kennen.

Back to the dearest family Brunsveld to buy.... Do you see Henri on the left watching me questionable, what will we bring into the car hahaha ... no not a sheaf of corn this time!

I want this spontaneous family to thank for their very warm hospitality and cordial gesture to us and that we could stay for a while in there stall to rest from the heat of the weather, hopefully we see you soon again! Very lovely, so cozy and nice to know you all.

Even de koeien nog melken voordat ze op stal gaan en reden we door naar Duitsland om daar een lekker hapje te gaan eten. Wat een heerlijke, gezellige en fantastische dag hebben we beleefd.

Here we were milking the cows before they go to the shed, and we traveled to Germany for to eat a delicious dinner. What a lovely, pleasant and wonderful day we experienced.

En wat ben ik nu toch aan het doen….

Ook ik ben aangestoken door het virus met de leuke hexagon bloemetjes!

Zag zoveel leuke en prachtige creaties op diverse blogs, kon ze niet weerstaan!

Dit wordt een héél klein poppenquiltje voor…, oef wat een mysterie allemaal hé hahaha.

Ga er nu vandoor, je zal het binnenkort zien. Hopelijk niet meer op zo’n lange termijn met mijn blogposten want mijn vakantie is in zicht, JOEPIE!

“Don’t go loose it baby…!”

Ooohhh, nog minder dan 24 uur zijn we verwijderd van de FINALE van het wereldkampioenschap voetbal 2010 in Afrika!

Was zo aan het twijfelen eerst een verslag over de fairs of… ja, heb nu eerst gekozen voor de support voor ons Oranje Voetbal team.

Wat was het spannend vorige week, gegild heb ik van vreugde toen ze doorgingen naar de finale! Fantastische prestatie na 32 jaar…

Herinneringen van het Europees Kampioenschap uit 1988 komen weer helemaal naar boven, GEWELDIG.
En nu staan ons Nederlands team klaar om die wereldbeker naar Nederland te halen!

Ooohhh, less than 24 hours we removed of the final of the 2010 World Cup Soccer in Africa!

Was so in doubt a first report of the fairs or... yes I make my choice for supporting for our Dutch football team.

It was so exciting last week, I screamed of joy when they went through to the finals! Fantastic achievement after 32 years...

Memories of the European Championship in 1988 come back, was so great.

And now our Dutch team are ready to take this World Cup home to the Netherlands!

“It’s Summer time…”

Wat een tropische temperaturen in Nederland, heerlijk! Daar hoort natuurlijk een heerlijk ijsje bij…, mmmmmm!

What a tropical temperatures in the Netherlands, great! Of course you need now a delicious ice cream ... mmmmmm!

Heb m’n zonnebedje lekker neergezet voor een siësta en moest m’n bedje delen met onze kat Donna, wat geniet ze toch op haar oude dag van 18 jaar.

I've put down my sun bed for a siesta but I must share my bed with our cat Donna, what does she enjoy in her old age of 18 years now.

Morgen gaan we er heerlijk op uit, wederom naar de Farm & Country Fair te Aalten! (klik)

Daar zijn we vorig jaar ook geweest en heb ik deze strokrans gemaakt.

We vertrekken lekker vroeg om de hele dag daar te vertoeven, heb er al helemaal zin in…

Dag lieve allemaal, wat vliegen de weken om.

Hello dear all of you, the weeks are flying by.

Inmiddels is onze dochter Jodie 15 jaar geworden en hebben we een spetterende tuinfeest achter de rug, was erg gezellig met zoveel jonge vriendinnen en vrienden van haar.

In the meanwhile, our daughter Jodie become 15 years now and we were celebrate her birthday in a fantastic garden party, was great with so many young friends.

De slingers heb ik laten hangen want nu ga ik een feestje vieren op m’n blog.Vanwege de awards die ik van hele lieve personen in ontvangst heb mogen nemen, maar tot m’n grote verbazing ga ik nu zelfs mijn 200e volgster verwelkomen op mijn blog.

Ongelooflijk vind ik dit en wordt er zo stil en verlegen van.

Jullie moeten weten en ik kan het niet vaak genoeg schrijven hoe intens blij ik van jullie lieve, spontane, geweldige en mooie reacties wordt, op m’n blog en per mail.

Still I hang the garlands because now I am go to party on my blog.

Because of the awards that I have received from very lovely people, but I was so surprises that I can welcome my 200th follower on my blog, amazing.

I find this unbelievable and become so quiet and shy.

You must know and I can get enough of writing this how deeply happy I am from your dearest, spontaneous, beautiful and great responses on my blog or by email.

De laatste tijd heb ik als een “stille” lezer mijn favoriete en diverse inspirerende blogs bezocht. En wat ik dan zie en lees dan sta ik soms gewoon te springen en gil het dan uit en laat alleen de kreten ooohhh en aaahhhh los. Kan niet altijd een reactie plaatsen vanwege de drukke tijd maar probeer wel zoveel mogelijk bij te houden, dus kom ik als een stille lezer even heerlijk bijlezen. Komende periode zal het hopelijk wat rustiger worden in mijn agenda en kan ik weer voluit bloggen. Inmiddels staan er wel 100 foto’s te wachten voor mijn blog.

Lately I was a "silent" reader when I visiting my favorite and various inspirational blogs.

And what I saw and read, I sometimes must jump up and I can only yell ooohhh and aaahhhh.

Can not always place a comment because of the busy time at the moment but try to keep it up as much as possible, so you know now that I come as a silent reader. Coming period will hopefully be quieter in my agenda and I can resume again for full blogging. A 100 photos are still waiting for my blog.

Bij deze wil ik jullie allemaal een kadootje van mij schenken en dat is weer een stitcherie want jullie laten mijn hart zingen! En ik hoop vanuit mijn hart dat ik nog heel lang mag zingen van jullie. Nu ben ik blij dat de letters die ik schrijf mijn valse noten gelukkig niet kunnen laten weerklinken hahaha….

Als je zin hebt klik op het patroon en print het lekker uit van dit hartje en ik hoop bij het maken dat je nog aan me zal denken. Voor degene die het wellicht moeilijk vinden om het te maken probeer ik hieronder uitleg te verstrekken. Wil je graag de volledige werkbeschrijving voor benodigdheden en ook de werkwijze van dit patroon, stuur me even een mailtje.

Herewith I want to give all of you a little gift and this gift is a little stitchery, because all of you make my heart sing! And I hope from my heart that I can sing a long time of you. Now I am glad that the letters that I write my false notes fortunately can not let it sound... hahaha.

Neem het patroon over op de goede kant van de stof. Dat kan met een dun potloodstreepje, ceramic pen, textielcarbonpapier of d.m.v. een lichtbak of je raam.

Of op de “a la Cindy” wijze het patroon overnemen op wat dikker overtrekpapier van de V&D.

Als je overtrekpapier wilt gebruiken dan knip je het patroon ruim uit en zet je het papier vast met rijggaren.

Stof met het getekende patroon erop en of papier in borduurringetje plaatsen en stitchen met een backstitch/stiksteek.

Als je klaar bent met stitchen je borduurringetje verwijderen en de stof gladstrijken.

Heb je gebruik gemaakt van het overtrekpapier, verwijder dan voorzichtig al het papier d.m.v. zachtjes lostrekken.

Vind je de draad wat te los op de stof, strijk het garen dan een beetje glad met je nagel aan de achterkant van de stof.

Take the pattern over on the right side of the fabric. This can with a thin pencil line, a ceramic pencil, textile carbon paper, on a light box or use your window.

Or the "a la Cindy" style, take the pattern over on to thicker tracing paper.

If you wish to use tracing paper you cut out the pattern and fixed the paper down on the fabric with tacking thread.

Place your fabric with the pattern on it or the pattern on the tracing paper in a embroidery ring and stitch the lines with a back stitch.

When you have finished stitching remove your embroidery ring and smarm the fabric.

Have you used the tracing paper, remove carefully and gently all paper.

If you find the thread too loose on the fabric, smarm the yarn with your nail at the backside of the fabric.

Vogeltjes uitknippen van wolvilt en met een kleine rijgsteek erop naaien.

Daarna goede kanten van de stof op elkaar leggen en hartvorm stikken met naaimachine of met de hand kleine backstitch/stiksteek maken.

Cut out the little birds of wool felt and sew it with small stitches.

Then put he right sides of the fabric together, and stitch the heart shape with your sewingmachine or if you want to sew by hand use a small back stitch.

Let op dat je een opening houdt van ongeveer 4 cm. om hart te vullen met fiberfill.

Make sure to keep an opening of 4 cm. to fill the heart with fiberfill.

Langs het hart een naadje knippen van 0,5cm, knipje geven tot naadje bovenaan het hart (zie potlood op foto nr. 9) en onderaan de punt recht afknippen. Hart via opening omdraaien en vullen met fiberfill. Daarna met kleine onzichtbare steekjes opening dicht maken.

Lintje en nog wat gezelligs eraan bijv. een bedeltje van een hartje en klaar is je stitcherie hart.

Daar ga je toch van zingen…

Cut out the heartshape with a little seam of 0.5 cm, a small cut in the center of the heart shape ( photo nr. 9) and cut right at the point of the heartshape.

Flip the heart shape through the open side of 4 cm. and fill it with fiberfill. Then shut the opening with small invisible stitches.

Place a ribbon for to hang your heart and some charm bead like a heart or something and ready is your heart stitchery.

This will make you sing..
