Dit is mijn Valentijn borduurproject voor 2015 geworden en heb vele lieve kruissteekjes mogen zetten.

This has become my Valentine embroidery project for 2015 and made it with many loving cross stitches.

Had een heel mooi en lief borduurboekje mogen lenen van Tanja en met het zien van dit borduurpatroontje dacht ik meteen, ja deze wil ik gaan maken voor Valentijn 2015.

Vond het zo ontzettend super schattig en borduurwerk in een mooi lijstje gedaan.

Had borrowed from Tanja a very nice and sweet embroidery little book and by seeing this cross stitch pattern I immediately thought, yes want to make this for Valentine 2015.

Found it so incredibly super cute and framed the embroidery in a beautiful frame.

Heeft al een gezellig plekje van mij gekregen om iedere dag met natuurlijk veel liefde ernaar te kijken in de maand Februari!

Gave it already a cozy spot gotten and of course to look it daily with a lots of love in the month of February!

Heel veel hartjes strooi ik jullie toe, wens jullie een hele fijne Valentijnsdag met heel veel liefde met misschien wel heel veel lieve post!

“In the mood for Valentine…”

In de maand Februari versier ik meestal met hartjes.

De winterdecoratie heb ik alweer opgeruimd en nu Valentijnsdag een beetje dichterbij begint te komen zal in huis vele gezellige hartjes te zien zijn.

In the month of February I usually decorate with hearts.

I’ve already tidy up the Winter decoration and now Valentinesday gets a little closer you will see in my home many friendly hearts.

Hou ontzettend veel van harten en heb ook met heel veel liefde aan dit kleine harten quiltje gewerkt vorig jaar.

Hartjes handgemaakt met de techniek “omgekeerd appliceren”, ontzettend leuk om te leren en te doen.

Love a lot of hearts and so I’ve worked with a lot of love to this little hearts quilt last year.

Hearts are handmade with the technique of "reverse appliqué" incredibly fun 

to learn and do.

Voor ieder hartje heb ik een verschillend harten quiltstofje gebruikt, kijk maar...

For each heart, I used different hearts of quilt fabric, please look ...

En als je om de hartjes quilt vind ik het effect zo leuk omdat de hartjes dan wat naar voren komen in het quiltje.

And when you quilt around the hearts they come a little bit forward, love the effect!

“Lovely favourites make my heart sing…”

Dit weekend kon niet heerlijker en zo relaxed beginnen dan dat ik gister om 9:30uur in een schoonheidssalon heerlijk werd verwend!

This weekend I started so glorious and so relaxed because yesterday morning at 9:30 am I was so spoiled in a great beauty salon!

 

Met Valentijnsdag werd ik vroeg in de ochtend verrast… Henri is al de deur uit en terwijl ik op de automatische piloot mijn ontbijtje aan het klaar maken was vond ik op tafel een héél leuk tasje met een grote envelop waar mijn naam op stond! Was meteen klaarwakker hahaha…

With Valentine's Day I was surprised in the early morning... Henri was already go to work while I was making my breakfast on autopilot and on the table I found a very nice bag with a big envelope with my name on it! Immediately I was very awake hahaha...

Verrast door mijn hele lieve man Henri, die een afspraak voor me had gemaakt bij schoonheidssalon Kirsten van der Velde Body Fashion voor een heerlijk voorjaarsarrangement, om lekker het voorjaar in te gaan. Nou dit was dus echt een tranentrekker in de vroege ochtend…, zo ontzettend lief!

Surprised by my dear husband Henri, who had made an appointment for me by the beautysalon Kirsten van der Velde Body Fashion for a nice spring arrangement, to enjoy and feel fresh for the upcoming Springtime. Well this was really a tearjerker in the early morning... so sweet!

Prachtige brief waarin hij schreef dat hij vond dat ik het nodig en zo verdiend had , zo ontroerend ondertekend door mijn zilveren Valentijn, mmmmmm……

He wrote me also a beautiful letter, he thought I needed and deserved it so much, signed by "Silver" Valentine, mmmmm....

Werd heel warm ontvangen door een ontzettende lieve en vriendelijke jongedame Lionne die me ook bijzonder fijn behandeld heeft, echt helemaal top! Wat een gouden handen heeft ze en voel me als herboren, ben helemaal klaar voor de Lente… Dit is het voorjaarsarrangement “Fresh Blossoms”, al heerlijk om het te lezen! Zo jammer dat ik mijn fototoestel niet had meegenomen om de prachtige salon te fotograferen en mijn voetjes die in een lekker geurend badje gemasseerd werden als welkom ontvangst…

Was so warmly greeted by a very sweet an friendly young lady Lionne who has treated me very nice, absolutely great! What a "golden"hands she have and I feel reborn, I'm really ready for Spring time...

This is the program "Fresh Blossoms", also wonderful to read! So sorry that I didn't had brought my camera with me to photograph the beautiful salon and my feet in a nice scented bath as a welcome start...

In december kreeg ik een ontzettende leuke en attent mailbericht van Loes Verhoeven met de vraag of ze mijn weblog met het patroontje “you make my heart sing” mocht linken. En voor een paar weken terug liet ze me zelfs weten dat ik de “freubelfavoriet” was van de site “freubelweb.nl”!

Had haar ook nog geschreven dat ik hoop dat ik mijn man z'n freubelfavoriet nog ben…hihiih ;-)) (knipoog)

Heb inmiddels de “winter” uit ons huis gehaald en een voorsprong gemaakt naar “Lente” hoe kan het ook anders met de start van dit weekend en verheugende berichten.

Het waterige zonnetje deed zijn best dit weekend maar het voelt buiten nog heel koud aan, brr…

Lekker binnen blijven, gisteravond de kleenex doos tevoorschijn gehaald met de eerste aflevering van “All you need is Love”.

In the meanwhile I have cleaned up "Winter" from our home and made a start for "Spring" how could it be otherwise with the very relaxing and fresh start of this weekend and lovely messages.

The watery sun did its best this weekend but outside still feels very cold, brr ...

Nice stay inside, last night brought out the kleenex tissues box to watch the first episode of a Dutch television program "All you need is Love" .

 

Vandaag heerlijk naar deze bos tulpen gekeken en mijmeren over de heerlijke “Lente” seizoen die te wachten staat….

Today I only could watch to this lovely bunch of tulips and day-dream about the wonderful "Spring" season that awaits...

De voorjaarsvakantie is inmiddels begonnen en zal voor mij ook heel leuk en gezellig worden!

Zoals a.s. vrijdag een lekker gezellig dagje naar de handwerkbeurs te Zwolle met twee lieve dames…. en zodra we daar gearriveerd zijn ontmoeten we er nog heel veel lieverds en bloggers.

Spring break holiday has begun in Holland and will be for me very nice and cozy!

For example, upcoming Friday I plan a lovely and fun day out. Go to a craft fair with two lovely ladies.... and when we arrived we met there more lovely ladies and bloggers.

En ik…, ik volg absoluut mijn hart op die ontzettende leuke handwerkbeurs om mijn karretje helemaal vol te stoppen met allemaal goodies hihihi… kan niet wachten.

Fijne start van de week wens ik jullie allemaal toe, maak er voor jezelf weer een feestje van!

And I..., I definitely follow my heart on the very cute craft fair to load my trolley alone with goodies... hihihi can't wait.

“For you my Valentine this heart of mine…”

Begin januari had ik al een Valentijn quilt bedacht…

Dat begon zo, dit jaar zijn Henri en ik in juni 25 jaar bij elkaar, al een hele lange tijd.

Wilde iets speciaals voor hem maken en dan met Valentijn geven.

Ik heb 25 yoyo’s gemaakt met warme rode kleuren, voor ieder jaar één en in de vorm van een hart op linnen gezet.

Starting in January I already thought for a Valentine quilt…

It started so, this year Henry and I are in June for 25 years together, really a long time.

Wanted to give something special for him at Valentine’s day.

I’ve made 25 yoyo's with warm red colors, one for each year and shaped it in a form of a heart and stitch it on linen.

Dit kaartje erbij ontworpen met de tekst:

“For you my Valentine this heart of mine…”

omdat hij 25 jaar geleden mijn hartje heeft gestolen met zijn liefde voor mij!

Achterop dit kaartje heb ik iets persoonlijks naar hem geschreven…

I also designed this card with the text:

"For you my Valentine this heart of mine ...",

because 25 years ago he has stolen my heart with his love for me!

On the back of this card I write a personal note for him ...

 

Om het quiltje heb ik een picot randje gehaakt om het af te maken.

Natuurlijk weer die fantastische harten linten van de Ribbonstore (klik)gebruikt!

We kijken er inmiddels al 2 weken naar, hij weet nog niet dat ik dit quiltje voor hem met veel liefde, passie, zorg en tederheid hebt gemaakt… om met Valentijnsdag aan hem te geven!

Around the quilt, I crochet a picot edge to finish it.

Of course I used again those fantastic hearts ribbons from the Ribbonstore! (click)

We look already two weeks now at this quilt, he does not know that I made this quilt for him with love, passion, care and tenderness…. to give him at Valentine's Day!

 

Vond het ook een leuk idee om er een workshop van te maken voor de dames van mijn quiltbee Lammie en Els en twee lieve vriendinnen Willeke en Jolanda en heb ze 2 avonden gezellig in my Country Home uitgenodigd.

Dit zijn de prachtige en leuke resultaten, ieder heeft er zijn eigen touch van gemaakt.

I thought It was a good idea to make a workshop of it for the ladies of my quilt bee Lammie and Els and also two dear girlfriends of me Willeke and Jolanda and I invited them for 2 evenings at my Country Home.

These are the beautiful and nice results, each has its own touch.

 

Wens voor iedereen een bijzondere Valentijnsdag toe, laat de liefde en passie hoogtij vieren en geef je maar heerlijk aan het gevoel over!

Dit prachtige nummer kan ik iedere dag wel horen, geniet en zing vooral lekker mee….

En dit is het kado wat ik voor mijn man Henri heb gemaakt…
And this is the gift I've made for my husband Henri ...

Met dank aan lieve Bonnie van haar mooie weblog “Bonjade”. Las deze prachtige tekst op haar blog en dacht meteen ik ga er wat mee doen voor Henri. Heb haar direct geschreven en kreeg haar zo lief haar toestemming om er wat van te maken, was er zo blij mee!
Hij zegt altijd tegen mij, je maakt altijd zoveel kadootjes voor anderen maar nooit voor mij…
Dat hoeft hij geen twee keer te zeggen tegen mij en ben meteen aan de slag gegaan met dit Valentine project.

Read this wonderful text on her blog and immediately I thought I'm going to do something with this text for Henri. I immediately wrote to Bonnie and got so sweet her permission to make something of it, was so happy!He always says to me, you always make so much presents for others but never for me ...He does not need to say that to me twice and I immediately set to work with this Valentine project.

De tekst heb ik omgezet in een stitcherie met DMC borduurgaren nr. 304 en op linnen stof vastgezet.
Had nog een mooi kaartje van mijn Oma met parelmoer knopen voor “150 centen” voor een mooi hart en het geheel in een mooi lijstje gezet.
Met verbazing pakte hij het kado uit…, tja dit had hij natuurlijk nooit verwacht hahaha!
Maar ik zag wel dat hij er blij mee was en zei meteen daar hebben heel wat uurtjes in gezeten.
Dat doe ik natuurlijk graag voor hem en deze lieve Valentijn verraste mij met dit prachtige boeket met witte rozen!

The text I turned into a stitcherie with DMC embroidery thread No. 304 and stitch on linen fabric.I had also a nice card with pearl buttons for “150 cents”from my Grandma, I used those buttons for a beautiful heart and put it all in a nice picture frame.When he opens the gift he was amaze ..., well he never expected such a present like this hahaha!But I saw that he was happy and immediately he said in this present there are many hours of stitching and making of it.Of course I will spent for him so many hours and sweet Valentine surprise me with this beautiful bouquet of white roses!

Maar gister werd ik verrast door twee andere Valentijnen, oh oh…. wie zijn dat?
Bij het thuiskomen van een uurtje shoppen hing er aan onze voordeur een bosje bloemen met een mooie kaart van ene W…. ooohhhh, riep ik luid uit wat een schat is dat toch ook!

But yesterday I was surprised by two other Valentines, oh oh.... who are they?When coming home for an hour of shopping at our front door hung a beautiful bunch of flowers with a card of someone who named W .... OOOHHHH, I speak loud out what a sweetheart she is!

Is afkomstig van mijn vriendin Willeke, ik wist het meteen en in deze mooie kaart schreef ze “Because you’re special, you have a place in my heart”!
Heb mijn Kleenex tissue box maar tevoorschijn gehaald, zo ontroerd was ik en hield het niet droog. En al snikkend heb ik haar lieve boeket met witte tulpen in een vaas gezet.

This bunch of beautiful flowers is from my dearest friend Willeke, I knew it immediately and in this beautiful card she wrote "Because you're special, you have a place in my heart"!I’ve need my Kleenex tissue box, I was so moved and cry. I have been sobbing while I put her sweet bouquet of white tulips in a vase.

Maar de post was ook geweest en daar lag een leuke envelop met mijn naam erop…
Ik maakte het open en deze post was afkomstig uit het mooie Den Haag…, dat kan niet anders zijn dan lieve “mail” vriendin Coby. En ja hoor, de volgende tissue heb ik maar gepakt.

I pick up my mailpost from the doormat and there was a nice envelope with my name on it ...I opened it and this post came from the beautiful city... The Hague, this post can only be from my super sweetheart "mail" friend Coby. And yes, I take the next tissue again sobbing.

Dank jullie wel ontzettende lieve maar dan ook hele lieve Valentijnen, mijn hart is zeker geraakt en ontroerd door jullie!
Thank you so much very sweet and the dearest Valentines, my heart is definitely touched and moved by you!

En ik wens jullie alvast een fijne week toe, deze week begeef ik me nog tussen allemaal harten.

“Two days till Valentine…”

Wat is de Liefde toch heerlijk… en voor altijd bewaard?

What is Love wonderfull... and always kept it forever?

Dit boeketje met rozen kan al 5 jaar oud zijn. Heb ik zo lief van mijn man Henri met Valentijn gekregen… en inderdaad tot nu toe nog steeds bewaard!
Hangt heel gezellig in ons toilet en Valentijn engel kijkt toe… uhhh alleen naar het boeket hoor hihi.

This bouquet of roses is already 5 years old. I received this bouquet so lovely from my husband Henri with Valentine... and indeed until now still kept it!Bouquet is hanging very cosy in our toilet and Valentine angel is watching uhhh ... just only watching to the bouquet hihi.

Veel mensen hoor ik zeggen, “nee hoor aan Valentijn doe ik niet aan… zo’n commercieel iets.”
Jammer, denk ik want dat maak je er zelf van. Maar als ik dan terug zeg, “is het bij jou dan iedere dag Valentijn?” Dan zie ik de wenkbrauwen fronsen en verbaasd kijken ze me aan…
“Uuuhh ja, roepen ze een beetje verbaasd” en voelen zich overrompeld met deze vraag.
“Dan is het goed en laat de liefde maar prachtig bloeien hoor” zeg ik.
En wat tover je daarmee toch een prachtige lach op de gezichten….
Het gaat niet om het kado maar om de woorden “Ik hou van jou”, dat klinkt zo heerlijk en voelt zo warm…
En als er toch een attentie erbij word gegeven dan weet ik wat lief dat er zoveel moeite voor je is gedaan, uit het hart gegeven en dat er bij je wordt stil gestaan!

I hear many people say, "No for me no Valentine ... it is only a commercial thing." Too bad I think, because that is what you make yourself of it. But when I say back, "is every day Valentine at yours?" Then they frown there eyebrows and look so surprised at me ..."Uuuhh yes, they say a little bit feeling surprised by this question."Well that is a good thing and let that love blooms every day" I say. And than I see the magic touch by saying this because they get beautiful smiles on their faces ....It's not about the gift but the words "I love you" what you received that sounds so wonderful and feels so warm ...And when you do received an attention than I know what effort is made with love for you from the heart and the thinking for you!

Voor degene die zo graag de hartjes willen haken, heb nog even geduld. Heb hiervoor mijn dochter nodig om goede foto’s te maken terwijl ik er één aan het haken ben, ik heb er geen beschrijving van en haak het uit mijn hoofd. Probeer het patroon binnenkort echt op papier te zetten…ok?
