Dag lieve allemaal, Hello everyone,
Zijn jullie al helemaal in mooie Kerst sferen gehuld en
alvast aan het bedenken wat er geserveerd zal worden voor het vreugdevol
samenzijn rond de Kerst tafel?
Was er al de hele maand November mee bezig… nee, nog niet
met wat er geserveerd zal worden hoor maar wel met wat er op de achtergrond
wordt opgehangen hahaha.

I was the
whole month of November working on it ... no, not even with what will be served
at Christmas dinner but what will be hanged at the wall behind the table hahaha.
Zoals ik al in mijn 1e give away post had
geschreven zullen er hierna nog 3 volgen vanwege m’n 5 jarig bestaan van mijn
blog “Cindy at her country home” en nodig ik jullie hierbij uit voor mijn

As I had
written in my 1st giveaway post that this will be follow by 3 others because of
my 5 year anniversary of my blog "Cindy at her country home" and I
invite you for my "Joyful dinner!"
Dit is de 2e give away met de mooie franse damast
theedoek van de ribbonstore.nl en bestek als afbeelding.
Bedacht meteen dat is leuk voor de Kerst en heb ik van deze
theedoek weer een quilt van gemaakt.
De contouren van de afbeelding heb ik door gequilt en met
het zilveren bestek van mijn lieve wijlen opa en oma erop gestrikt met mooie
rode fluwelen bandjes.
Vind het altijd wat feestelijks hebben fluweel en door de
ruches wat ik heb gebruikt heb ik er een “schortachtige” keuken uiterlijk
gegeven en met linnen en geruite stof afgewerkt.
Het kant erom heen is ook van de ribbonstore.nl, heel leuk
op een houten klos verkrijgbaar.
This is the
2nd giveaway with the beautiful French damask towel of the ribbonstore.nl with cutlery
as image.
Figured out
right away that is nice for Christmas and I hand made a quilt of this towel
again.
The
contours of the image I have quilted it and with the silverware from my dear late
grandparents I tied it with beautiful red velvet ribbons.
Find it
always something festive about velvet ribbons what I used, the ruffles gives an
"apron" kitchen look and I finished with linen and chequered fabric.
Deze quilt heb ik “Joyful dinner” genoemd.
Daaronder heb ik een losse flap gemaakt met een stitchery
voor de tekst om deze te verwisselen d.m.v. knoopjes, na de Kerst zal deze dan
vervangen worden door een andere flap met een tekst om deze quilt doorgaans te
gebruiken. Dat zullen jullie in Januari weer zien.
Op de losse flap heb ik de volgende tekst erop gestitched:
“Thankful, loving and happy hearts, this is how
Christmas starts.
Ja…, en zo moet eigenlijk iedere dag je dag starten!
This quilt
I called a "Joyful dinner".
Below I created
a loose flap with stitchery for the text also to change through this buttons,

On the

Sinds een week heb ik deze quilt af en het hangt al zo
gezellig aan de plank achter onze eettafel.

En na zo’n vreugdevol diner dan staat er de afwas te wachten

Ons gezin viert Kerstmis altijd met pakjes onder de
kerstboom.

Our family
always celebrates Christmas with presents under the Christmas tree.
And there
is also a present for all of you from Santa Clause, he’s sitting already so lovely
on his chair to enjoy the milk and cookies.
This Christmas
present is the free pattern from the washcloths I have worked on with love for
those who love to knit it. But I am so very sorry this pattern is only
available in Dutch, don’t know how to translate this in a good knitting pattern.
